NEW CURRICULUM
Guitar 2
Guitar 2, formerly known as Rewire Guitar, is designed to be taken either as a standalone class or as a continuation of Fretboard Fundamentals.
The course makes reading standard notation engaging through interactive Noteflight scores and short musical examples featuring backing tracks in contemporary styles. Students can practice their reading skills while having fun jamming with the band. Guitar 2 also includes ear-training modules and composition prompts that help students make deeper connections to the lesson material.
COURSE UPDATE
PTP Studio
Production Through Performance is getting a full overhaul. Building on the concept of writing and recording original music on a DAW through performance, PTP now also focuses on reading lead sheets and playing covers, this expands its use to piano, music appreciation, modern band, and traditional ensemble classes.
New units will be available to PTP users throughout the fall semester, with full availability planned for the spring. The drum unit is now in beta.
