UNIT PREP
If this is your first time playing guitar, build fretting hand endurance and facility by playing as much as possible. The final song uses only three string chords, but it would be beneficial to be able to play the full versions of these chords along with the class.
Familiarize yourself with the common issues beginners face and create effective troubleshooting strategies by working through the exercises out yourself. This preparation will enable you to guide students towards self-reliance in identifying and resolving playing challenges.
SEQUENCING AND PACING
